    A wave of groundbreaking ramen is about to hit D-FW 

    In January, chef Marshall Lamb took over from the founding chef, Jesus Garcia. Lamb is reimagining the Fort Worth location, with new decor and a Dylan Kennedy sea serpent mural, and an even more freewheeling approach in the kitchen. Think chicken chili verde with avocado, or crawfish with Japanese sausage.

     

    Lamb, a 28-year veteran with a long history in West Coast seafood restaurants, describes his approach as "a Japanese-Texas ramen thing — we really don't have any boundaries." But he learned to make ramen from Garcia, who studied in Japan. A location in Richardson is set to open in August, and plans are underway for expansion across Texas and beyond...

    A cultural arts icon, a popular long-standing business, and a prospering start-up will host the first three murals of the recently launched Downtown Arlington Mural Project.

    • An iconic Downtown destination, Theatre Arlington is the second largest and second oldest theater in Tarrant County. The company’s commitment to quality live performance, community engagement and education played an important part in helping Downtown earn the designation of Arlington Cultural District.     Color Us Grateful: DAMC Announces Sherwin-Williams Sponsorship

    The Downtown Arlington Management Corporation is pleased to announce a sponsorship by The Sherwin-Williams Company in support of the Downtown Arlington Mural Project.

    Through a gift of paint and materials, The Sherwin-Williams Company and The Sherwin-Williams Paint Stores of Arlington will support the creation of two murals in Downtown Arlington by two accomplished artists. The murals will be completed by mid-September in time for a VIP dedication event and free art festival featuring each of the artists and their work.
